User Experience Updates

Line Item Improvements

Beginning in TeamConnect 5.0, users are able to revert line item adjustments and reject line items altogether. These processes operate much like how applying discounts functioned in 4.x versions. It is important to note that there is no functional difference between reverting and line item and applying a correlating discount to negate the adjustment. The reversion serves to simplify this process. For more information, see Reverting Line Items on this page.

Invoice line items now have icons displaying if their recent adjustments (if present) were done manually or by automated rule. For more information, see Adjusting Invoice Line Items.

 

Default Save and Cancel button options

Save buttons can be customized to default to: Save, Save & View, Save & Close, Save & New.

Cancel buttons can be customized to default to: Cancel & Close, Cancel & View.

Options will still be available via the dropdown on the button; these defaults are designed to optimize and expedite work in TeamConnect. For more information, see Setting up the User Interface.                

Customizable hover-over views

The pop-up views shown when hovering over an item can be customized and applied to both system and custom objects. This allows administrators to ensure that users can quickly view the most relevant information for their particular need. For more information, see Custom Hover Popups

 

Forgot Password Link

Administrators are able to allow users to reset their password from the login screen. For more information, see Logging In.

 

Drag-and-Drop Functionality for Document Upload

Documents can be uploaded more quickly via drag-and-drop. For more information, see Adding a Document to TeamConnect.

 

Custom color profiles

Administrators can edit a LESS template file to provide users with custom color options. Users can then select to use a System option or other custom UI profiles, if provided. For more information on this enhancement, see Color Profile Administration.

Note: Pre-existing custom colors (prior to 5.0) will not be preserved after upgrade. Administrators will need to utilize the new Custom Color Profile feature after upgrade to create the desired custom look for their users. Please see Color Profile Administration in the TeamConnect 5.0 Help for more information.

 

Search Results Display order can be adjusted

Order of columns in results display can be edited for custom search. For more information, see Using Custom Search.

 

Bookmarking Items

The Add Bookmark button is now available to allow users to populate the Bookmarks tab in the upper-right corner icons. These bookmarks will be preserved after log-out and will not be visible to any other users.
