This document details the upgrade information, new features, resolved issues, and known issues that are included in TeamConnect 5.0.1.

1Upgrading to 5.0.1

You must be using one of the following TeamConnect versions in order to upgrade:

3.0 SP1

3.0 SP1 Update 1

3.1

3.1 Update 1

3.1 SP1 (including Update 1 and  Update 2)

3.2 (including Update 1 and Update 2)

3.3 (including Update 1 and Update 2)

To upgrade to TeamConnect 5.0.1, run the TeamConnect Installer as described in the TeamConnect Enterprise Installation Guide.

Important: Users upgrading from 5.0 with a SQL Server database should run the upgrade scripts with the database in autocommit mode if their instance contains a large number of line items with adjustment types other than ‘NONE’.

Note: These release notes assume that users are upgrading from TeamConnect 4.0.9 or later. If you are upgrading from a TeamConnect version prior to 4.0.9, please see the TeamConnect 4.0.9 Release Notes for information necessary upgrade changes and module dependencies.

2Changes and Enhancements

The items below are changes or enhancements built into TeamConnect 5.0.1. More information on these can be found online in the TeamConnect 5.0 Help.

 

Change: TeamConnect now supports Oracle WebLogic 12c.

Detail: WebLogic 11g will be descoped starting with the TeamConnect 5.1 release.

 

Change: The custom color profile template has been updated to support custom colors for the top navigation bar, block titles, and left navigation bar.

Detail: The new LESS template can be found on the Color Profile Administration page of the TeamConnect 5.0 online help.

 

Change: Line item adjustment types have been changed from text to enum. All reports on line item adjustment type will no longer function or be edited.

Detail: In order to run reports on line item adjustment type, first delete the data series with the line item adjustment type and recreate it.

 

Change: The Disable Documents in All Services Menu setting now removes the Documents search view from the left navigation panel.

Change: Two localization values have been updated in this release.

3Upgrade Considerations

TeamConnect 5.0.1 supports both JDK 1.7 and 1.8. Similarly, the 5.0.x line supports WebLogic 11g as well as 12c.
