1       System Requirements

 

To install CSM 4.0 Update 2, you must be running TeamConnect 4.0.

 

Use the Available Updates section of the About page to install. For more information about how to install, refer to Viewing Information About Available Updates.

 

Important: Do not customize the object definitions that comprise CSM (CSM Settings,         Timekeeper, Vendor, Budget Request, and Rate Request) in any way. Customized versions of CSM are not eligible for support.

 

2        Upgrade Considerations

 

This section provides upgrade requirements and considerations for CSM 4.0 Update 2.

 

Details about the compatibility requirements for CSM and TeamConnect, and the related upgrade procedures, are available in the TeamConnect 4.0 Installation Help.

 

When all requirements are met, perform the upgrade from the Available Updates block on the

 

About page in TeamConnect.

 

CSM 4.0 Update 2 has the following upgrade requirements:

 

If you are using the Oracle 10g JDBC driver, you must include the following setting in the JVM argument on the server on which TeamConnect is deployed:

 

-Doracle.jdbc.V8Compatible=true

 

 

3        Resolved Issues

 

CSM 4.0 Update 2 includes multiple resolved issues. For a description of each issue fixed, see below:

 

Issue: CSM Sync did not function if there was more than one invoice with the same number (but different case) for the same vendor. This defect was exclusive to Oracle servers.

Issue: Rate Request sync would stop if it encountered an invalid value rather than moving to next value.
