The following steps describe how to configure the Connections page from Admin Settings. Field descriptions are provided in a table below.

Enable Proxy Authentication—To require TeamConnect to perform certain connections through a proxy server, select the check-box.

Proxy Host Name / IP Address—Enter the node name, or IP address, by which your proxy server is known on your network.

Proxy Port Number—Enter the port number on which your proxy server listens for requests.

Proxy Username—Enter the user name which authorizes your requests to the proxy server.

Proxy Password—Enter the password which authorizes your requests to the proxy server. Enter plain text. (The password is stored in a secure format in the database.)

Proxy Realm—Enter the name of the realm that is associated with the protected area, for example, yourcompanyname.com. The realm name should be ASCII characters, with no spaces or punctuation except a hyphen (allowed only in the middle of the realm name) or a period.

Enable NTLM Authentication—If you check this setting, all requests to the proxy server will use the username and password that you use to log in to your operating system domain. Any values in "Proxy Username" and "Proxy Password" will be ignored when NTLM is enabled.
