This document details the upgrade information, new features, resolved issues, and known issues that are included in Legal Matter Management 4.0.2 (4.0 Update 2).

1Installing Legal Matter Management 4.0.2

To install TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0.2, you must be running TeamConnect Enterprise 4.0.9 or later and have admin rights on your instance.

Installing 4.0.2 with TeamConnect 4.0.9

 

1.In TeamConnect, click the Admin tab, and then click the Admin Settings sub-tab link.

 

2.In the left pane, click the About link.

 

3.In the Available Updates section, click Show Updates Available for Installed Products.

 

4.           Locate TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 2.

 

5.Click Install Now.

 

6.If the installation is successful, restart TeamConnect.

 

 

Note: If the installation is not successful, TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 2 does not appear as an Installed Product.

 

 

For Oracle Users

 

During the upgrade process, Oracle users will notice conflicts in the Wizard Page Components. These conflicts are due to a duplicate fix for unique IDs on Wizard Page Components present in TeamConnect 4.0.9 and Legal Matter Management 4.0.2. This conflict warning can be ignored, as the Wizard Page Components will have unique IDs regardless of whether you select the LM 4.0.2 settings or TC 4.0.9 settings.

 

 

 

 

 

App Server Configuration

 

It is suggested that users change their App Server argument values in order to download Legal Matter Management 4.0. App servers with suboptimal argument values will cause the installation process to freeze or interrupt as it downloads to the app server memory.

 

The suggested argument values are:

XX:PermSize=512m

XX:MaxPermSize=1024m

XX:NewSize=512m

Xms256mb

Xmx1536m

Initial memory pool: 2056 MB

Maximum memory pool: 4096 MB

2Changes and Enhancements

The section describes the enhancements to Legal Matter Management found in the TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0.2 release.
