The global search bar allows you to search for a text string in a single record type, or in multiple record types simultaneously.
Global Search Bar
The text string that you type will be matched against records' names and identifying numbers. Matching records (where the text string is a complete match or a partial match) will be displayed. Choose which record types to search, key in some text and click Go to begin the search. If you want to abandon the search and return to the page you were previously viewing, click Cancel.
Note: Global Search does not search Document records. For information on searching Document records, see Searching for Existing Documents.
When you select All or All Projects in the Search drop-down list, TeamConnect searches the record and memo text fields listed in the Fields Searched by Global Search table. When you select a record type in the Search drop-down list, TeamConnect searches the field names listed in italics in the table.
Note: Searching for a text string in All or in All Projects can have a performance impact, particularly in an organization with a large number of records.
