One or more basic history rights is required to view or work with history records.

The following table explains the basic rights to history records:

Allows groups to search for, print, and see existing History entries.

Note: Because History entries can be created only from within records, groups must be able to view the appropriate records. Also, it is possible for users to search and view history records that are associated with another record type the user does not have access rights for. For example, if a user does not have rights to expense records, they can still search and view history records associated with expenses.

Allows groups to change existing History entries.

Create History records

Allows groups to create and print new History entries. These groups can also create a copy of the current record.
