This section provides upgrade requirements and considerations for CSM 4.0.

You must already have CSM 3.4 SP1 installed before upgrading. There is no automated upgrade path for versions of CSM prior to 3.4 SP1.

Users with CSM 3.4 SP1 Update 3 are able to directly upgrade to 4.0. Users with all other versions of CSM 3.4 SP1 must upgrade to CSM 3.4 SP1 Update 5 before upgrading to CSM 4.0.

More details about the compatibility requirements for CSM and TeamConnect, and the related upgrade procedures, are available in the TeamConnect 4.0 Installation Help.

When all requirements are met, perform the upgrade from the Available Updates block on the About page in TeamConnect.

CSM 4.0 has the following upgrade requirements:

•If you are using the Oracle 10g JDBC driver, you must include the following setting in the JVM argument on the server on which TeamConnect is deployed:

-Doracle.jdbc.V8Compatible=true
