This document provides installation information and resolved issues for TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 1.
To install TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 1, you must be running TeamConnect Enterprise 4.0 or later.
To upgrade to TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 1, you must be running one of the following versions of TeamConnect Legal Matter Management:
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.0 SP1
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.1
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.1 SP1
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.2
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.3
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.3 Update 1
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.3 SP1
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.3 SP1 Update 1
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.3 SP1 Update 2
•TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 3.3 SP1 Update 3 or later
You must have admin rights to install this product.
To install TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 1
1.In TeamConnect, click the Admin tab, and then click the Admin Settings sub-tab link.
2.In the left pane, click the About link.
3.In the Available Updates section, click Show Updates Available for Installed Products.
4.Locate TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 1.
5.Click Install Now.
6.If the installation is successful, restart TeamConnect.
Note: If the installation is not successful, TeamConnect Legal Matter Management 4.0 Update 1 does not appear as an Installed Product.
App Server Configuration
It is suggested that users change their App Server argument values in order to download Legal Matter Management 4.0. App servers with suboptimal argument values will cause the installation process to freeze or interrupt as it downloads to the app server memory.
The suggested argument values are:
•XX:PermSize=512m
•XX:MaxPermSize=1024m
•XX:NewSize=512m
•Xms256mb (Non-Tomcat Servers Only)
•Xmx1536m (Non-Tomcat Servers Only)
•Initial memory pool: 2056 MB
•Maximum memory pool: 4096 MB
Note: Users should direct any questions about app server settings and configuration to support@mitratech.com.
Known Issue
Issue: Upgrade Toolkit fails to download if the TeamConnect instance runs out of Java heap space.
Workaround: This issue can be avoided by increasing the Java heap size. If you encounter this issue, please contact Mitratech support.
